Florida SouthWestern State College's Honors Scholar Program offers students an enriched and challenging educational experience that extends learning beyond the classroom. We strive to cultivate academic excellence, skillful leadership, and commitment to social responsibility. As a rigorous, transdisciplinary program, we inspire students to seek out transformative experiences and participate in the world in new ways.
The Priority Application Review deadline is March 1st. You can expect to hear back from the director regarding your admission status two weeks after the application deadline.
If space allows, we will review applications between March 2nd and July 1st on a rolling basis, meaning they will be reviewed as they are received. We will fill the remaining spots available on each campus with applications in this period on a first-come, first-served basis.
Please note that we are not accepting any new applications for Charlotte for the 2026-2027 academic year as we have filled our program.
